Do I need to be home for delivery and pick up?

No, you don’t have to be present at the time of delivery and pick up. We offer convenient contactless delivery and pick up service. Please note a signed our agreement must be completed and submitted in advance.

What happens if I want to extend my rental ?

If you would like to extend your rental period, please notify our team prior to the scheduled pick update and let us know the desired extension length. additional weekly charges will apply for any period beyond the originally paid rental term.

What is the cancellation policy?

72 + hours before delivery : Free
48 – 72 hours before delivery : 25 % cancellation fee
24 – 48 hours before delivery : 50 % cancellation fee
Same day  : 100 % cancellation fee
After delivery : All orders are final and non-refundable

Yes. All of our bins are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

What Happens if I want to extend my rental?

Accepted Answer

No problem, Simply let our team know before the pick up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long and we'll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the boxes beyond what you've already paid for.

What if I need more bins than previously expected ?

If you require additional bins, simply contact us during your rental period and let us know how many additional bins you need. Additional bins are billed at $5 per bin per week, and a $50 
re-delivery fee applies.

What are the replacement fee for lost rental items ?

Replacement fees will apply for any lost or unreturned rental items. applicable replacement charges will be billed to the credit card on file if replacement is required.

What if I have stairs ?

We can assist with stairs for an additional fee ranging from $20 to $100 depending on the situation. Please indicate if you need assistance during the checkout process.

Can I change my pickup date?

Yes. While our online system will assign your pickup date based on the day of delivery and rental duration, just contact us to find an available day/time for pickup that works best for you.

We currently service the san Francisco Bay Area.

If you are located just outside our service area but within a reasonable driving distance, please contact us to discuss availability.

Can I use PakUP boxes for a long-distance move?

Accepted Answer

No. PaKUP boxes are intended for local moves within the San Francisco Bay area only now. As we are unable to retrieve the boxes from long distance locations.

How long do I get to keep the boxes?

Based on our experience, a two week rental period is ideal for most residential moves, Allowing sufficient time to pack, move and unpack. When placing your order, you may select a Rental period ranging from 1 to 6 weeks to best fit your needs.
